Claims
CIG participates in controlling the
healthcare costs by serving the interests of the employer, TPA and
stop loss carrier.
The CIG consultative case manager and
claims team can help identify catastrophic and potentially
catastrophic claims and work with the TPA to help customize
strategies to manage unexpected or uncontrolled claims.
Although CIG has established professional relationships with
preferred vendors for transplants, review/audits, and
comprehensive case management including specialized disciplines,
we are always evaluating new programs for quality products and
competitive pricing. Participation in these programs is
at no cost to the employer.
Our claims department is
staffed with professionals who average over 20 years experience in
the payment of medical claims. Once the eligible claim is
submitted, we have a knowledgeable and responsive claims staff to
facilitate prompt reimbursement from the stop loss carrier with an
average turnaround time of five business days or less.
In
addition to providing a competitively priced product, we believe
an accommodating and courteous claims department is a critical
component in developing and maintaining relationships with our
Third Party Administrators.
